These terms apply to every booking at Wooden Nest Homestay, Upper Pelling, Sikkim. By requesting a booking, you agree to them, together with our House Rules, Cancellation Policy and Privacy Policy.

Booking & confirmation

  • A booking made on our website is a request. It's confirmed once we receive the advance (currently ₹2,000 per booking) and mark it confirmed. You'll get a confirmation email if you gave us an email address.
  • Rooms aren't held for unpaid requests — another guest who pays first may take the dates.
  • The person making the booking must be at least 18 and is responsible for everyone on it.

Prices & payment

  • Rates are per person, per night, and include meals. Children aged 3 and above pay the full rate; children under 3 stay free (₹300 per night if they eat meals).
  • A room booked for a single guest has a minimum charge for the stay. Prices for some dates (holidays, peak season) may differ from our standard rates; the price shown when you book is the price you pay.
  • The advance is paid by UPI. The balance is due at check-in.

During your stay

  • Check-in is until 9:00 PM; check-out is strictly 9:30 AM. Every adult must show a valid government photo ID.
  • Smoking, drinking and eating are not allowed in the rooms or the common room. Quiet hours are 10 PM to 7 AM. Full details are in our House Rules.
  • Guests are responsible for damage they cause to the property. We may refuse or end a stay, without a refund, if house rules are seriously or repeatedly broken.

Weather, roads & belongings

  • Mountain weather and road conditions (landslides, closures) are outside our control. We're not responsible for travel delays, missed views or cancelled sightseeing, but we'll always try to help you rearrange.
  • Please look after your own valuables.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the courts of Sikkim.
